You go weekly to your therapist and your physical trainer, but if you are a writer, who can you see weekly on the same personal basis about your writing? The Playwright Therapist.
I develop a schedule that fits your schedule for weekly sessions to discuss your finished plays and plays in progress. I also encourage and help you to realize new ideas for plays, musicals, or screenplays. The sessions include general notes, and then granular analysis of each page and scene. We read scenes aloud and discuss all aspects like character development, general themes, and plot structure. If you want to write a musical, I can introduce you to a composer right for your story. And if you're a composer, I can introduce you to a bookwriter. We discuss further development of your work in private table reads and public readings, which I help organize, and at festivals and other production possibilities. I can also introduce your work to possible directors and producers.
PLAYWRIGHT THERAPY is a premier service for playwrights, musical book writers and screenwriters offered by Jack DePalma.
